In April, students will begin the You Choose process to select rooms and roommates for the 2012-13 school year.  Many students are still attempting to finalize their roommate options.  The following email is being sent out to all on-campus residents informing them of the opportunity to attend a Roommate Meet and Greet hosted by Residence Life & Housing.

If your student is in need of a roommate, encourage him/her to attend one or even both of these opportunities in an effort to find a new roommate or complete their room blocks.

Dear Residents,

If you are living on campus for the 2012-2013 academic year, you should be finalizing your living arrangements.  General Room Selection will take place on Monday, April 16, 2012 to Thursday, April, 19, 2012 and your selection time is based on your priority number.

If you are looking for someone to live with, or a group of people to round out your housing block, Residence Life and Housing would like to help in that process.  On Monday, April 2, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Benson 101, Residence Life and Housing will host a roommate “meet and greet.”  For those who are interested in attending, we will give everyone an opportunity to meet one another and see if you would be a good fit to live together.

At the end of the meet and greet, your contact information will be exchanged and it will be your responsibility to follow up with the students you met to finalize your housing group.  We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity!

If you have any questions, please email Cherise James (jamesc@wfu.edu), Stephanie Ganser (gansersr@wfu.edu), or call Residence Life and Housing at 336-758-5185.

Thank you,

Cherise James, Residence Life Coordinator-South Campus
Stephanie Ganser, Residence Life Coordinator-North Campus
