Parents Can Deliver Student Career Assistance Through LinkedIn
The following message was sent to the Parent Programs office from Ladd Flock, Associate Director of Career Services.

Dear Wake Forest Parents:
Professional relationships are the key to our students’ success. We are excited to announce a new LinkedIn networking group for students called Career Connectors. Overseen by our Office of Career Services, this group serves as the primary career networking resource to empower students with information on parent and alumni career success while providing students with the ability to reach out for tips and advice.
Please consider joining this group to share up-to-date details on your industry, organization and position. In doing so, you equip our students with knowledge for their internship and job search preparations. Know that our students understand the value of networking and are being trained to get the full functionality from LinkedIn resources. Career Connectors is moderated by my office. Participation is easy and requires only three simple steps:
- Go to LinkedIn’s Wake Forest University Career Connectors page
- Click *join* and Ladd Flock will accept you into the group
- Respond to Wake Forest students who request a networking opportunity
Thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to join Wake Forest’s new Career Connector group. Your availability through LinkedIn makes you an active member of Wake Forest’s career community and builds upon our traditions of helping students connect to the workplace.
