The Wake Forest University Police Department will test the outdoor emergency alert system on Tuesday, Aug. 15 and Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The community will hear messages on loudspeakers across campus. The tests are being conducted to ensure that the University’s emergency notification systems are operating correctly. If an actual emergency were to occur on the testing dates, the University would use numerous alert methods to inform the campus.
No action is required to the alert messages during these tests.
