The Office of Personal and Career Development announces City Search — Careers & Internships for Students: Are you still seeking a summer internship or full time position in one of these regions? Are you relocating, interested in connecting with fellow students and Wake Alumni? Register on Handshake to attend one of these 45-minute programs:

  • New York City, Tuesday, April 24 12:30 p.m. — Innovation Station, OPCD
  • San Francisco/Los Angeles, Wednesday, April 25 12:00 p.m. — Heritage Room
  • Washington, DC, Thursday, April 26 12:30 p.m.— Innovation Station, OPCD
  • Charlotte/Raleigh Durham, April 27 12:00 p.m. — Innovation Station, OPCD

The instructor is Lee Svete, Associate Vice President, OPCD, and OPCD Career Coaches. Student participants can sign up for OPCD email alerts about Wake alumni events and career postings throughout the summer.

Wake Forest Connects – DC is happening on May 31st from 6:30-9pm in Washington, DC. This is a great way for students to engage and build professional relationships with local alumni. DC Connects is open to all current students and the application (which can be filled out in Handshake) closes on May 24th. All students interested in starting their career in DC after graduation are encouraged to attend. 

The Washington, DC Career Trek is from May 31-June 1. Students who are interested in starting a career in DC in the Consulting industry are encouraged to attend. The companies students will visit are Navigant Consulting, Deloitte, and Gartner. If interested, students should apply in Handshake by April 29th.
