A memorial service for Wake Forest junior Derek Palme will be held January 12 in Chester, New Jersey.  Palme died this past weekend at his home in Long Valley, New Jersey.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the William J. Leber Funeral Home at 15 Furnace Road in Chester, New Jersey (07930).
A memorial service will follow from 7 to 7:30 p.m.

The University has scheduled a campus service, too.  It will be held at 4 p.m. January 20 in Wait Chapel.

The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the Fund for Wake Forest Scholars. To give online, go to the Giving Form, enter your information and pledge, then scroll to the bottom of the form, check “Other” and put either COS546 or Fund for Wake Forest Scholars in the Comment field.
