There are several upcoming events this week of note.  This evening (Wednesday, September 15) at 6 p.m., a town hall meeting will be held in Wait Chapel to discuss issues related to religious freedom and pluralism, and to consider how the University can better support all students, faculty and staff of all faiths and religious traditions.  

On Thursday, September 16, at 7 p.m., a Constitution Day lecture will be held in Pugh Auditorium in the Benson University Center. Robert McGuire of the Department of Economics, University of Akron, will speak on the “New Economic Interpretation of the United States Constitution.”

On Friday, September 17, a symposium on “Patriarchal Religion, Gender and Sexuality” will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Room 1302 in the Worrell Professional Center. The symposium is sponsored by the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy. For more information, please visit the Journal website.
