Our September Job and Internship Fair is fast upon us and we want to inform you of the variety of organizations that will be in attendance. The Office of Personal and Career Development is hosting dozens of employer representatives next Wednesday, September 14th in Benson Hall from noon to 4pm. Employer reps are eager to talk with Wake Forest students of all years and disciplines. They will provide overviews of their opportunities, answer student questions, and provide tips and advice on their application processes. Many employers are collecting resumes for upcoming on-campus interviews. The fall fair has always been a very popular event. Please encourage your son or daughter to review information below prior to the event. We will have representatives from media, consulting, management, banking, government, information technology, non-profit, marketing and education organizations attending the event.

We want your student to make a great first impression. Please encourage your student to wear business attire when attending career fairs and to bring at least 10 copies of their resume. Our Office of Personal and Career Development career counselors review resumes Monday through Thursday from 2 – 4 PM and Fridays 10 – 12 PM and 1 – 3 PM in our new office in Reynolda Hall room 230. NOTE: Due to student demand, they have extended resume review hours to 12 – 6 PM prior to the fair on September 12 and 13.
If your son or daughter has not attended a career fair in the past, the Office of Personal and Career Develop has partnered with human resource professionals at DISH Network to offer a pre-event workshop entitled Making the Most of a Career Fair on September 13 from 3-4pm in Benson 409. All students should attend this program to be best prepared.
