Residence Life and Housing sent the following emails to Potential New Members (PNMs) and current sorority members (respectively) who are approved to move in early for sorority recruitment.

[TO POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS]

Good afternoon,

You have been approved to arrive early for the Spring Semester beginning at 9:00AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 as a Potential New Member participating in Sorority Recruitment.

If you are moving on-campus for the Spring semester, you will need to come to Alumni Hall Suite 104, which is building 26(B) on the Campus Map between the hours of 9:00AM and 5:00PM. Please plan to park in Lot W1 when you come to Alumni Hall, as parking along the street is prohibited.

Read the Important Information Below:

  • Arriving After Hours:If your planned travel arrangements (or delays en route) will have you arriving on-campus after 5:00PM, then you must notify Residence Life and Housing immediately at housing@wfu.edu or 336-758-5185 and we will communicate instructions to you regarding checking in to your assignment.
  • Arriving Earlier Than Approved: If extenuating circumstances will have you arriving on-campus before 9:00AM on your approved arrival date above, then you may request to arrive one day early on January 6thby emailing housing@wfu.edu for a fee of $100. If your request is not approved or if you choose to do so, you can make your own arrangements to stay off-campus at a place of your choosing. A list of local hotels can be found on the Wake Forest website.
  • Overnight Guests:You are not permitted to have guests (students or otherwise) stay overnight until the buildings open for all students onJanuary 10th, this includes a roommate who is not approved to arrive early.
  • Deacon OneCard: As a reminder, if you are a returning student, please bring your Deacon OneCard with you to check-in.

If you are moving on-campus for the Spring semester, you will need to come to Alumni Hall Suite 104, which is building 26(B) on the Campus Map between the hours of 9:00AM and 5:00PM. Please plan to park in Lot W1 when you come to Alumni Hall, as parking along the street is prohibited.
