The following message was sent to resident students on August 16 with important details about move-in activities.

Hi –

We look forward to welcoming you to campus this week on <Check-In Date>! After checking in at the LJVM Coliseum you will move into your room on campus.

All students should begin their move-in process at the LJVM Coliseum, see below for instructions on how to enter the LJVM Complex.

LJVM Arrival Map

Families are welcome to join their students inside the Coliseum for Campus Services Day on August 18 and 19; please enter through the designated parent/family entrance. We do ask that ONLY students enter the main atrium/lobby for Residence Life and Housing check-in.

To help expedite the check-in process, please plan to have this email available when you arrive at check-in.

Move-In Safety and Masking

As a reminder, all visitors to campus are expected to wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Due to the presence of families with unknown vaccination status in the residence halls, we encourage our students to wear masks during hours that the building is open to visitors for move-in.

Finally, please remember that individuals who have been advised to quarantine, isolate, are experiencing symptoms, or have recently experienced symptoms are advised that they should not return to campus until cleared to do so by a public health professional.

We are monitoring for the possibility of inclement weather during our move-in process. Please plan accordingly and know that we may need to suspend move-in activities during periods of severe weather.

After Hours Arrival

If you find yourself delayed during your travels and will arrive after 5 p.m. and have not yet let us know, please submit this form by 4:30 p.m. to notify us. Please note that students who do not notify us of after-hours arrival will be unable to check in4/21/2001 until the next day. Additionally, students arriving after 10 p.m. will need to find their own arrangements for the evening and check-in the following morning.
