The following message was sent to students on Thursday, March 21 by the Office of Residence Life and Housing

Good Afternoon –

We hope that you are doing well! We’re writing today with some important information related to housing selection for the 2019-20 academic year. At this point, you should have completed Step 1: APPLY and Step 2: GROUP. The final step, Step 3: SELECTION will take place at your group’s designated selection time between March 25-29.

This Friday, Mar. 22, the room availability list will be published at go.wfu.edu/housingselection; the list will be updated throughout the selection process. On the room availability list, you will see all spaces available to select from for Housing Selection. As you review this list, you will see that rooms in Palmer, Piccolo and Efird are not included.  These residential communities will be offline during the Fall 2019 semester.

As you review the room availability list, you will also see more spaces that do not have a pre-assigned gender. This means that any group matching the available # of beds (i.e., a 6-person suite in Kitchin) could select the space regardless of whether they are a male group or female group.

Below you will find a step-by-step video to help walk you through the SELECTION portion of the process.

During housing selection, a help desk will be available in the Angelou Parlor; students with selection-related questions or concerns are encouraged to drop by for in-person assistance. Often the best way we can help you navigate your room selection choices and/or technical issues is by discussing them in person; please don’t hesitate to stop by and see us!

As always, the Office of Residence Life and Housing is available to answer questions and can be reached at housing@wfu.edu or 336-758-5185.
