Attention all fathers and step-fathers attending Family Weekend: you are cordially invited to attend a workshop for fathers with daughters.  On Friday, October 1st from 4-5:30 pm, Dr. Linda Nielsen will be offering a free workshop for dads and step-dads. Her no-nonsense, practical advice is designed to help dads prevent or resolve the problems that most fathers and daughters face during the college years. How can a dad or step-dad help his daughter deal with academic challenges and promote her social, physical and mental well being? What are the biggest mistakes dads make and how can dads avoid them? Topics: money issues, giving advice, grades, future career plans, eating disorders, sex and dating, depression and self-reliance. Pre-registration by September 24 is required.
