The following message was sent to graduating seniors from the Office of Student Life.  It concerns health care coverage following graduation.

————————————–

Dear upcoming graduates:

If you are graduating and have been enrolled in the BCBS of NC Student Blue plan offered through Wake Forest for fall 2010 and spring 2011, you are eligible for up to 6 months of extended coverage. If interested, you must apply and submit payment to BCBS of NC prior to your 7/31/11 termination date. To extend your coverage, contact Student Blue at 800-579-8022 or email@studentbluenc.com.

In addition, most young adults can stay on their parent’s family plan until they turn 26. It doesn’t matter whether you are in school or not. For more information, call the customer service number for your parents’ insurer and explain your situation.

Congratulations on your accomplishments!

Best wishes,

Caitlin
