With the increase in the number of e-scooters and other small electric modes of conveyance on campus, Facilities and Campus Services would like to remind the campus community of the following policies:

E-scooters and similar devices must always remain outdoors.  These devices pose a real fire hazard, and may not be used, stored, or charged indoors. Any devices found indoors will be confiscated immediately.

Devices may not be parked in courtyards, on sidewalks, in front of buildings or on grass.

Park devices at the nearest bike rack. If a bike rack is full, go to the next nearest bike rack.

Obey all traffic laws, stop signs, and traffic lights.  Yield to pedestrians.

E-scooters and similar devices must be registered with Transportation and Parking Services.
