The following message was provided by Residence Life and Housing and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.

Many parents and families might soon begin to make plans for their students’ return to campus when residence halls open at the beginning of the spring semester. We want to make sure families are clear on when  students are allowed to come back to campus.

For the majority of students, residence halls will open on January 13, 2018. This is the earliest time most students would be able to return to campus.

The only students who will be able to return early will be:

  • Women participating in Sorority Recruitment.  Active members (currently in a sorority) can move in on January 10; Potential New Members (girls going through recruitment) can move in on January 11.  See the Fraternity and Sorority Life website for more details.
  • Select Resident Advisers (RAs)
  • Student-athletes whose teams who are competing during that time

Classes begin on January 17, 2018.
