Dear parents and families,

The following message was sent to all undergraduate students this morning. We are sharing with all parents and families so you are aware of this important information.

Bottom Line Up Front:

– Students who want their families to visit campus can request a Family Campus Access gate pass (WFU login required). Students will complete a Google Form and then will receive an email that they must forward to their family, who can either print and display it on their dashboard or show it on their phone at the gatehouse.

– Masks are required, and social distancing of 6 feet must be maintained with anyone not currently living in your residence.

– Families are not permitted in any buildings on campus, including residence halls.

– Families should not come to campus if they have flu-like symptoms, have been directly exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, and/or if have tested positive for COVID-19.

The University encourages families to follow the guidance of the CDC and limit travel unless it is deemed essential. Travel poses a risk of exposure to COVID-19 and may result in exposing our students and campus community to the virus. We also recommend families consider following guidance from the CDC related to testing for COVID-19 before and after travel.
