Wake Forest is aware of the following incident in our surrounding community: Winston-Salem Police responded this afternoon to a report of a firearm discharged on Scholastic Court. The incident occurred off-campus, and there is no known Wake Forest student or faculty involvement.

Additional information will be shared if the situation affects the safety of the Wake Forest community. The official Twitter page for the Winston-Salem Police Department is @CityofWSPolice.
