The following message is sent on behalf of Vice President for Campus Life Penny Rue:

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

In response to the heartbreaking news of the recent passing of WFU Junior Jordan Bayer, grieving members of the community are invited to come together at 7 pm Tonight, Saturday November 7, in Davis Chapel.  Staff from the Office of the Chaplain, University Counseling Center, and Campus Life will be present to provide support.

Additionally, counselors from the University Counseling Center will be available in Farrell Hall Room 157,Sunday November 8, between 2 pm5 pm for any community member who would like to talk.

Grief affects each of us differently, and there is no “right way” to grieve.  Please visit this page on UCC website for additional guidance about grief.  Let us work to support one another as we begin to heal from this loss.

Sincerely,

Penny Rue
Vice President for Campus Life
