Commencement for Undergraduate Class of 2020: Sept. 17-19 weekend

To parents and families of the Class of 2020,

We are pleased to announce that we have chosen a date to honor our Class of 2020 and welcome their families back to campus for an in-person celebration of their graduation from Wake Forest. As you will see in this message, we will be honoring the Class of 2020 and their families the weekend of September 17-19, 2021.

While we had originally considered hosting this celebration in conjunction with Homecoming weekend, we wanted to consider the Class of 2020’s feedback in our decision. The overwhelming message we heard from them was that they wanted to be recognized as graduates first before being recognized as alumni.

We anticipate opening registration for Commencement 2020 in late summer. Until then, please know we are working on the plans to honor the Class of 2020, and we will continue to keep families informed as decisions are finalized.

We look forward to celebrating your graduates in September.
