Dear Parents and Families of the Graduates of the Class of 2020,

Over the past year, Wake Forest has remained committed to honoring the accomplishments of the undergraduate Class of 2020 in person.

I am grateful for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the challenges of this pandemic.

We have shared a survey with 2020 alumni offering options for an in-person event to be held later this year. We are currently considering two options:

1. An outdoor celebration on Saturday, May 22. Due to current limitations on gathering sizes and social distancing requirements, we would plan to hold the event in an athletic stadium appropriate for the number of people who register. It is likely that 2020 graduates would be limited to two guests each.

2. A special Homecoming celebration specific to the Class of 2020. Anticipate staged photo opportunities on Hearn Plaza, swag just for the class, and tunnel and tower tours. These opportunities would be complemented by gathering with other alumni at our signature Homecoming event, Party So Dear, tailgate and football game.

Decisions will be made based on public health guidance and the feedback we receive from 2020 graduates. I look forward to sharing more information soon.

Sincerely,

Nathan O. Hatch
President
