CampusCakes
In spring 2010, four Wake Forest juniors – Chris Class, Stacey Graf, Matt Kaden, and Dave Motta – envisioned a new business venture to be a part of the University’s entrepreneurship program. Their creation: CampusCakes, a cake-delivery service that allows parents to say “thinking of you” to their Wake Forest student without showing up at their dorm room door.
We spoke with the now-seniors in October 2010 to talk about the progress of CampusCakes and what Wake Forest parents and students should know.
So what is CampusCakes exactly?
CampusCakes is the perfect way for parents to send food to their student without having to worry about shipping, finding their address, or making sure the student actually received it. We eliminate the stress and drop off baked goods right at their doors – literally.
What makes us even more unique is that we teamed-up with Dewey’s Bakery, which is famous in the Winston-Salem area and makes arguably the best baked goods in Winston.
