Campus Crime Alert
The following message was sent to students, faculty, and staff on January 16.

Wake Forest is issuing a crime alert following an early morning assault of a student.
An unidentified man repeatedly struck a female undergraduate student at approximately 2 a.m. today outside the Delta Kappa Epsilon house at 1101 Polo Road, immediately across from the Wake Forest entrance.
The student was treated and released this morning at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating the assault with the assistance of the University Police Department.
After walking outside the house alone, she was grabbed and struck in the face repeatedly by an unidentified man wearing a hooded shirt or sweatshirt. The man fled when another female student walked outside the house and saw the attack. A description of the assailant is not available at present.
