Dear Wake Forest faculty, staff and students,

Please join us in person for Dr. Susan R. Wente’s installation as Wake Forest’s 14th president today, March 25, at 3 p.m. in Wait Chapel. Ceremony tickets are required and will be available on a first-come basis today to those who have not already registered. If you would like a ticket or need to pick up your registration envelope, please visit the Green Room of Reynolda Hall from 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. or the Will Call table in front of the Bookstore beginning at 2 p.m. Wake Forest faculty, staff and students will need to show a valid Wake Forest ID to receive a ticket. Chapel capacity is limited, and seating is not guaranteed.

If you are unable to attend in person, please visit President Wente’s Inauguration website to view the formal ceremony remotely.

This evening, we invite you to join the campus community for the Inauguration Ball at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Faculty, staff, students and special guests of the University will gather for a festive celebration of President Wente’s Inauguration. Suggested dress for the event is cocktail attire. The Inauguration Ball begins at 7 p.m. for non-students and 10 p.m. for students.

President Wente’s inauguration is an important occasion for our University, and Wake Forest looks forward, with great anticipation, to officially welcoming a leader who shares the core values of our institution. We hope you will join fellow Wake Foresters in celebrating this significant moment in our University’s history.
