The following message was sent on May 1 to residents of Polo Hall, North Campus Apartments 6-10, and Student Apartments A from the Office of Residence Life and Housing

Good Evening –

I hope you are well. I’m writing this afternoon to follow-up on a number of questions we have received in response to President Hatch’s update to the community today regarding move-out, among other topics.

The structured move-out process does indeed include your units in Polo Hall. Instead of moving out, you will be coming to campus to retrieve the items that were packed for you (as noted in our April 14 message ).

Recognizing that you are probably eager to be reunited with your items, we are prioritizing your move-out options and will be able to offer you move-out appointments beginning Saturday, May 9. On our Housing Portal , you will be able to view appointment slots beginning Friday, May 1 at noon, which are all three hours in length.

Once your move-out appointment is confirmed, we will provide you with detailed instructions on where to retrieve your items. At that location, you will have the opportunity to sort out any shared items and then be on your way.

Please note, you’re not required to return at this time. If you’re unable or choose not to come to campus, we will continue to store your items or you can work with Storage Scholars on shipping options . If you had previously signed up to work with Storage Scholars for storage, please contact them at info@storagescholars.com regarding options for moving forward.

If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us at housing@wfu.edu or 336-758-5185.

Best –
