From the Student Health Service:

Sporadic cases of influenza have been documented in our region and on campus over the last 2 weeks. While we are not seeing large numbers of patients ill with the “flu” it takes 2 weeks for the influenza vaccine to provide protection from the “flu.” Student Health Service has recommended that students should receive this vaccine as soon as possible to obtain maximum protection against the “flu.”

We will be in residence halls on campus giving flu shots and warm cinnamon rolls over the course of the next 10 days as follows:

South Residence Hall tomorrow – Tuesday 8th 5-7 PM

Taylor Residence Hall on Tuesday, November 15th 5-7 PM

Dogwood Residence Hall Thursday, November 17th 5-7 PM

We are also offering a walk-in clinic in the Student Health Service Monday-Friday 9 AM- 4 PM.
