The following message is sent on behalf of the Office of Residence Life and Housing:

Soon, the spring semester will conclude and more than 4,000 students will move out of our Residence Life communities.  As a part of our closing process each spring, we partner with Goodwill in Winston-Salem on our Deacs Donate program. This program provides convenient opportunities for students to donate gently-used, unwanted items for a good cause as they move out. Throughout May, items will be collected at designated, marked areas in our residential areas.  All of the items will be collected for and picked up by our Goodwill partners.

In order to honor the intent of donations, we ask that items are not removed once they are placed in the donation bins (or at a donation collection site). Wake Forest and Goodwill appreciate the generosity of our students.  The University also appreciates Goodwill’s participation in the Deacs Donate program.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing at housing@wfu.edu or 336.758.5185.
