The University Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred on the Reynolda Campus Thursday night, December 8. Police are seeking assistance in identifying the vehicle and driver involved. The vehicle struck Collen Brehm, who is now hospitalized. She is employed by Aramark Campus Dining Services at Wake Forest.

At 6:55 p.m., Brehm was walking across Wake Forest Road, next to Wait Chapel, from Lot P toward Lot Q.  A white SUV struck her, carrying her about 30 feet before she landed near Lot P (east side of the Chapel). Witnesses reported seeing three people in the vehicle, which did not stop after striking Brehm.

Brehm is a patient at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

University Police investigators request that they be contacted by anyone with information that may assist in the investigation. To provide information to police, call 911 from a campus phone or 336-758-5911 from a cell phone.  Contact police also by using the Silent Witness program on the web.
