- Wake Forest and Pepsi Bottling Ventures launch new University-wide partnership
- Deadlines to increase or decrease fall meal plan
- Wake Wash laundry service
The forecast for today said “100% chance of rain.” It has been grey and rainy intermittently throughout the morning, with the occasional peek of sun. Let’s hope we get the rain out of the way now: we are officially only 16 days from the main Pre-Orientation move-in for new students and 20 days away from the rest of the Class of 2030 moving in. Lots of exciting stuff to come!
Wake Forest and Pepsi Bottling Ventures launch new University-wide partnership
There was a campuswide email today announcing a new partnership:
“Wake Forest is pleased to share that Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV) has been selected as the University’s exclusive beverage partner through a new 10-year, University-wide agreement. The agreement expands Wake Forest’s longstanding relationship with Pepsi beyond Athletics into a comprehensive partnership serving the Reynolda Campus, Wake Downtown and The Graylyn Estate…..
Students will benefit from initiatives that include:
- student scholarships and support programs;
- paid internships with Pepsi Bottling Ventures;
- brand ambassador and student marketing opportunities;
- full-time career pathways;
- continued support for Wake Forest Athletics, including student-athlete NIL opportunities.
In addition to these student-focused opportunities, the agreement will enhance the campus experience through expanded low-sugar and zero-sugar beverage options, upgraded vending technology, campus event partnerships and sustainability investments that benefit the broader University community.”

Deadlines to increase or decrease fall meal plan
Students got an email yesterday with the deadlines for them to increase or decrease their meal plans for the fall. Here’s the key info:
“If you’d like to decrease your meal plan for the Fall 2026 semester, you must do so by August 1, 2026. After this date, changes to a lower plan will no longer be allowed.
If you’d like to increase your meal plan, you have until September 30, 2026 to make that adjustment. This can all be done in the Housing Portal under ‘Meal Plans.’
For specific details on all meal plan choices, including the specific meal plan and prices, please visit Deacon Dining’s website.”
Wake Wash laundry service
Wake Wash is a laundry service that got its start on campus, built by students as part of our entrepreneurship program. And our friends at Wake Wash asked us to share this info with the Daily Deacdom, in case this service might be something your family wants to opt into. Here’s what they shared:
“Make Laundry One Less Thing to Worry About This School Year!
College should be about classes, friends, and everything that makes Wake Forest special. It should not be about laundry – no quarters, no waiting on machines, no hauling baskets up and down stairs. Just clean clothes, every week!
Most students choose to skip laundry day entirely. Wake Wash – the exclusive laundry
wash-dry-fold and dry-cleaning service for Wake Forest – picks up right outside your dorm room door each week and returns everything clean, folded, and ready to put away the next day.
Here’s How It Works
- Bag it: Wash-dry-fold customers get a personalized black bag that holds about 25 lbs of laundry. Dry cleaning customers get a blue bag that holds about the same.
- Leave it at the door: Set your bag outside your dorm room door every Tuesday by 4pm.
- We do the rest: We wash, dry, and neatly fold your laundry – and professionally clean everything in your dry-cleaning bag.
- Back the next day: Clean, folded laundry and finished dry cleaning returned right to your door between 4–6pm – the very next day!
Wake Wash is alumni-owned and student-operated, built specifically for the Wake Forest community. This year we were proud to handle laundry for the German National Team during their World Cup stay at Graylyn – if we can manage a World Cup roster, we can handle a semester of your Demon Deacon’s laundry!
Registration is open now for the upcoming school year!”
So if this is a service you wish to use, please follow up with Wake Wash directly.
That’s all I’ve got for you today. Have a great night!
