Today is a busy one for me, so just one topic this afternoon: it’s the news that our very exciting Winston-Salem Open tennis tournament is less than a month away! Here’s what my colleagues from the tournament wanted families to know:

“As you begin making travel plans for move-in, I’d like to share an event your family may enjoy while you’re in Winston-Salem—the Winston-Salem Open!

This year is especially exciting as the tournament celebrates its 15th anniversary. Winston-Salem is proud to host one of only three ATP 250 men’s professional tennis tournaments in the United States, reflecting our city’s rich tennis tradition. From August 22–29, you can watch some of the world’s top professional players compete in an intimate setting right here on the Wake Forest campus.

Whether you’re in town for move-in weekend, staying a few extra days, or looking for a reason to return the following weekend, the Winston-Salem Open is a great opportunity to experience world-class tennis up close while celebrating this milestone year.
