I am out of the office today, so today’s Daily Deac is a pre-post.
Yesterday, students received a message about student events at the Duke’s Mayo Bowl from Shea Kidd Brown, Vice President for Campus Life, and John Currie, Vice President and Director of Athletics. It reads in part:
“Once you have finals behind you and have enjoyed a few weeks of Winter Break, we would love to have you with us in Charlotte. Thanks to the generosity of Deacon Club members, student tickets are available for a subsidized price of only $30 using a special promo code (check your email) just for you! You’ll be surrounded by fellow Deacs as we cheer on our team. You can also purchase guest tickets for your close friends or immediate family for just $60 each. We’re also excited to host a pregame student tailgate at Clutch Kitchen & Pour House, just around the corner from Bank of America Stadium. Registration details to follow.”
We hope to see lots of Deacs – and their families! – in Charlotte! I will share more detail as I have them.
To all our Deacs still on campus for finals today or tomorrow – hang in there! You’ll be done soon and on your way home for Winter Break.
Moms, dads, and loved ones, pamper your Deacs once they get back. Finals are exhausting and your students could use some TLC.
