Looking ahead to advising and spring course registration

Now that we are past Fall Break, it is time for students to begin thinking about their Spring 2026 class schedule. I am told that Spring courses will be published in Workday tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 17). Students can then start to build their Saved Schedule in Workday.

All students must go through academic advising, which begins on Monday, Oct. 20, to get their advising hold lifted. Students who have not yet declared a major (e.g., first-years and sophomores) will meet with their Lower Division advisor; students with declared majors or minors (e.g., juniors and seniors) will meet with their Major/Minor advisor.

Registration begins on Tuesday, Nov. 4 for students with 87 or more earned hours, with other groups following the remainder of that week. Specific registration appointment dates and times are available for students to view in Workday. Students should also regularly consult the Academic Services Calendar for specific dates and information.
