I am still out following hand surgery, so this is a pre-post.
University Theatre presents Failure: A Love Story
If your Deacs are looking for something to do this weekend (or you are during Family Weekend), the University Theatre is about to open Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins, directed by Jonathan Herbert.
Performance dates are September 19-20 and 25-27 at 7:30 p.m. and September 21 and 28 at 2:00 p.m. on the Tedford Stage, Scales Fine Arts Center. The show is described as follows:
“In Philip Dawkins’ tender and theatrical tale, time is slippery, love is unpredictable, and death is just around the corner. Lyrical, funny, and unexpectedly moving, Failure is a story about living, loving—and dying—in 1920s Chicago.
There will be a post-performance discussion with the playwright and student designers who worked on the production facilitated by Professor of Design Rob Eastman-Mullins on Thursday, September 25.
Tickets are $20 adults, $15 senior citizens, and $10 students. Details and tickets are available at theatre.wfu.edu or by calling 336-758-5295.”
