In this Issue: nearly 500 undergraduate students have not enrolled or waived in student health insurance!!

I am at a staff retreat today, but wanted to share this very important reminder, as it involves a $1,421 charge to your student’s account.

Yesterday we included the following in our WFU Should Know student enewsletter:

ACTION NEEDED: nearly 500 undergraduate students (and some graduate/professional students) have not completed their health insurance waiver/enrollment process. To avoid a $1,421 charge remaining on your student account (if you already have coverage), please visit this website before September 15 and enroll or waive coverage.”

Please talk to your students to ensure they have completed the enrollment or waiver process before the September 15 deadline. Again, this is an action all students need to take every year – including students abroad this fall*.

See more at our student insurance website.

* Domestic students participating in Study Abroad programs in 25-26 will still be required to enroll in or waive the Student Health Insurance Plan prior to their Study Abroad program; this ensures coverage in the event that a student must return to the United States for medical reasons.

That’s all I have for you – happy weekend!
