  • Parking notices during Winter Break
  • For families with students abroad/not enrolled in fall 2023
  • WFU in the News Dec. 4-10

I can barely contain my joy because my beloved ’27 Wolfpack is coming home tonight! I have been doing the Daily Deac since like 2010 but I finally know firsthand how legions of Wake families have felt when their students return. It’s a great feeling 🙂 May your Deacs all get home soon and safely.

Parking notices during Winter Break

I got some details from our Transportation and Parking Services office about on-campus parking over winter break, spring 2024 vehicle registration, 2024 parking for recruitment and early arrival information. These are all available on their website:

For families with students abroad/not enrolled during fall 2023

I was talking to our Student Insurance office this morning and wanted to be sure to get this info out to families whose students were abroad this fall:

“If your student was abroad in fall 2023 and was not on a WFU program (that required them to enroll in insurance), you must either enroll or waive for spring 2024.”

Similarly, if your Deac was not enrolled this fall but returning this spring, they need to be sure to enroll or waive insurance by the deadline. There is more info here.
