Pitsgiving is almost here!
In this Issue: Pitsgiving is this Thursday!
I’m on PTO today for a quick trip to Raleigh to celebrate my ’27s birthday, so this is a pre-post
It’s one of the happiest weeks of the year: Pitsgiving week!
Pitstiving is a Thanksgiving feast for your students – a chance for them to dine with their friends, hallmates, and classmates and have a Thanksgiving meal with their ‘family away from family.’ This is a high-energy, happy event. Your Deacs can get all the turkey, stuffing, gravy, and typical Thanksgiving side dishes and desserts they can eat.
Pitsgiving will run from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for lunch and 4-8 p.m. for dinner this Thursday, and is held in the Pit. Here are some pictures of Pitsgivings past. You will note that it is always a packed house. Urge your Deacs to go to Pitsgiving!
