Y’all. I am still dragged down by this stupid cold, so today I am leaning into great content provided by other people 🙂

Pictures from the Lighting of the Quad

Though our Deac families could not be here in person, you can at least enjoy this video and these pics from the Lighting of the Quad on Tuesday night. It looks like it was a lovely evening!

A Friend in the Forest – advice for ’27s from ’26s

The Campus Life Instagram (which you should follow if you are not already!) has posted a series of reels for A Friend in the Forest. These are current sophomore students in the Class of ’26 who are offering some advice for our current first-years in the Class of ’27.

I watched all of them this morning and they are really legit. Great advice for any ’27s who are still wondering/worrying if they will find their place, or their friends, or how to get there. If your ’27 Deac needs a little pick me up and some guidance from those who have been there, done that, encourage them to watch these reels.

Reminder to tune in to the Lovefeast on Sunday

Our annual Lovefeast is coming up this Sunday at 7 p.m. We hope interested parents and families will tune in at home via the livestream. And try to catch a glimpse of the Quad after dark via the webcam this week so you can see the luminaries that are lighting up the Quad through the Lovefeast.

The luminaries are placed in honor of those who light the path of opportunity for our students by providing scholarship support. Warm holiday wishes to all members of the Wake Forest community.
