It’s the middle of the week and the weather here continues to be beautiful. The fall colors are getting more spectacular by the day. Temperatures are delightfully cool. Life in The Forest is good.

Update on spring-only housing webinar tomorrow

Yesterday I mentioned that there would be a spring-only housing webinar on Thursday 10/26 that would be of special interest to students abroad and/or their parents and families. If you cannot attend the webinar live, it will be recorded and posted in the coming days; I’ll link to the recording once I have it.

Article about the 10th anniversary of Farrell Hall

Whether your student is a business major or not, I bet they have spent time in the home of our business school, Farrell Hall. It is a great location for studying in the wide open Living Room, or a place to grab a bagel and a cup of coffee. The outdoor fire pit and rocking chairs aren’t bad either.

Some of my extremely talented colleagues have pulled together this great article about the 10th anniversary of Farrell Hall. Here’s a teaser:

“It’s been 10 years since Wake Forest dedicated Farrell Hall, its new home for business education. The story of Farrell Hall isn’t that Wake Forest built a new building; the story of Farrell Hall is that when circumstances look bleak, there is no stopping a determined group of people from pointing their eyes toward the future with hope and joining together to achieve more than any of them could have imagined or done alone.”

Read the story of Farrell Hall, and don’t miss the cool photo slider of the Living Room!

Project Pumpkin photostory

Project Pumpkin was yesterday, and it was a jubilant afternoon for all who went “Under the Sea” with us for some wholesome Halloween fun. You can see more in our Project Pumpkin photostory.

For P’24s: Out of the Forest senior dinner opportunity

Last today but certainly not least, this one is for our P’24s. I saw this graphic for an Out of the Forest dinner for current seniors. They will need to register on Handshake.
