Seeking your advice for first-time college parents (or about-to-be empty nesters)
Weekly Message for New Families
It’s Tuesday, and that means we have a new edition of the Weekly Message for New Families; you can read it here. This week has a lot of info, so thank you for bearing with it 🙂

But I will confess to you that I am starting to get a lot of feelings about all the boxes piling up in our front hallway, as they are visual reminders that our kiddo is about to leave us with an empty nest. Seeking your advice for first-time college parents (or about-to-be empty nesters)
There is a lot of wisdom within our Wake Forest family, and I thought it might be fun to see if our been-there-done-that families have advice to help those of us who are sending their first/only/last student to college this fall.
For our experienced parents and families in the group, you are invited to offer whatever wisdom, solace, coping mechanisms, or advice in this quick 2-question survey. I would love to know what has worked for you to help you feel better about your student’s departure 🙂
If we get a robust set of responses, I will share them in a future Daily Deac. Thanks in advance for giving us your best thoughts.
