It’s a short week this week, Deac families: we have the 4th of July off as a holiday. Our Summer Session II students have classes begin on the 6th, per the Academic Services calendar; students living on campus for Summer II can move in on the 5th, per the 2023-24 opening and closing dates from Residence Life and Housing. If your Deacs are coming for Summer II, make sure they pack a lot of lightweight clothes. We are getting to that portion of the summer where we are hot and humid 🙂

Weekly Message for New Families

Because tomorrow is a holiday, we are bringing you this edition of the Weekly Message for New Families a day early. New families can read it here.

We will be dark tomorrow for the 4th of July holiday & editor’s note

Tomorrow is a holiday, so the Daily Deac will be dark. Then I will be out for PTO, but fear not, we have Daily Deac content prescheduled for when I am out of the office, and my colleagues will keep you abreast of any breaking news (if applicable).

Wishing you and your families a safe, healthy, and happy 4th of July!
