We have made it to Move-In Week, so it’s go time! A loooooot of things going on right now in prep for our students’ arrival, so today will be brief.

P’26s and transfer families: we sent out our final Weekly Update for Incoming Families today; you can read it here.

We also had a message go to our ’26 and incoming transfer students this morning about participation in their New Deac Welcome Week. Another message about academic adviser assignments.

If you have been looking at the weather forecast, the good news is that it isn’t going to be as hot as it normally would be in August. The bad news is there is a chance of rain nearly every day for the next two weeks. Keep your eye on the forecast and plan accordingly for rain as you move in if needed. 5 day forecast (chance of rain every day but temps in the 70s to low 80s)

We’ll close with a weather funny today. I have to admit, this can be quite accurate 😉

Meme: "meanwhile in NC" [big storm out the front windshield, sunny and blue skies in the rearview mirror]
