Special Commencement Weather Edition of the Daily Deac

For students, families, and guests attending Commencement this weekend:

Please continue to pay attention to the Winston-Salem weather forecast for Commencement day. In the event of rain, Commencement exercises will still continue outdoors on Hearn Plaza. Ponchos will be available for graduates under their seats, but guests are encouraged to bring their own rain gear. 

Large golf umbrellas are not allowed on Hearn Plaza. Smaller umbrellas can be used on the sidewalks.

We are hoping for the best weather possible, but want everyone to be prepared. We look forward to celebrating  Commencement with you!
