A Few More Commencement Photos
We are still reveling in the post-Commencement glow. As I mentioned a few days ago, the Quad cleans up *fast* after Commencement. We are less than 48 hours out from the end of the ceremony, and all that you can see on the Quad Cam is a bit of the stage that still needs to be deconstructed, and the wear and tear on the center aisle of the Quad where the students, faculty, and speakers processed in/recessed out.
Today I thought it might be fun to share a few more pictures of Commencement weekend from our very own Ken Bennett’s archive. Click on any pic to enlarge.
If you missed this from the Wake Forest Magazine Facebook page, this is a story worth sharing: “The sweetest moment from Wake Forest University Commencement. Andy Chen, who is from Beijing, holding a picture of his parents: I’m sad they can’t be here, but they’ll be right here (in his pocket) and watching the livestream.”
I always love seeing the view of the Quad from the spire of Wait Chapel.
And I also love to get the view from the back of the stage out into the audience.
And I love this shot of Rogan Kersh, our Provost, taking a pic of the grads.
This graduate gets double bonus style points for that kilt. I love, love, love it!
There were soooo many pics of proud families – I could fill a year’s worth of blogs with them. Here are a couple of them.
During the recessional, our newly-minted alumni go through a receiving line of faculty – and hugs are exchanged. The expression on this young woman’s face is everything!
Hope you enjoyed these! Congratulations again to the Class of 2022 and their proud families!
