Option for moving and storage
I am out of the office today, and will be out all next week for Spring Break with my Class of ’27 son. Today we have a guest blog by students involved in Storage Scholars.
Storage Scholars is the official moving and storage partner of Wake Forest University, founded and operated by students on-campus since 2017.
Storage Scholars moving, storage and shipping service was designed to create ease in students’ lives; learn more about it below in 4 easy steps.
How Storage Scholars works:
- Storage Scholars employees distribute boxes and packing supplies on campus for FREE at convenient locations and dates before move-out.
- Students using the service pack their items up, take photos of contents in and out of the box, upload photos to their account, lock their room, and go home!
- After final exams end and the campus is vacant, Storage Scholars student employees arrive to pick up students’ packed boxes and move them into an insured, temperature-controlled storage facility near campus.
- When students return to school, their packed boxes (and other belongings if applicable) will be ready and waiting for them in their residence hall room.
A few more quick notes:
- Pricing is dependent on each individual student and their storage needs.
- Everything is completely contactless; there is no appointment necessary!
- In 2021, 600 students used Storage Scholars.
