We are wrapping up the semester before administrators and faculty depart for the Winter Break, which for us begins next Monday, December 20th. So it is a light news day, just a few items:
Some students living in University-sponsored housing in Deacon Station or the Crowne properties have shared various circumstances about why they did not return their keys prior to leaving campus, and they now want to return their key rather than incur the winter break housing fee. Interfraternity Council Recruitment registration is live and will end on January 3. An information session for families is scheduled for January 10 at 12 pm EST. More information is available on the Fraternity and Sorority Life website.
For anyone in the Daily Deacdom who has a senior in high school who has been admitted to Wake Forest Early Decision to start in August 2022, we have an Early Decision websitewith some preliminary information for you. We offer the usual caveat of make your plans in pencil, not in pen: “As you move through the next few months, you may see changes to these dates due to the University’s continued work in response to COVID-19. We will be sure to keep you updated up until your arrival on campus. The dates are accurate at the time this website was produced. It’s important that you consult the New Student website regularly when it launches in May 2022 for the most updated information.”
