Today’s holiday photo of the day comes from Reynolda House, Museum of American Art. Not only is Reynolda House a world class art museum, but it is also an historic home that is a treat to visit. This is from their large living room, shown decorated for a Christmas past. It looks so grand.

Reynolda House Museum of American Art is decorated for the holidays on Friday, December 16, 2016.

I suspect that many within the Daily Deacdom have high school students (and maybe some middle schoolers too)! Others may have nieces, nephews, mentees, neighbors or other relationships with young folks who fit in the pre-college population. As I may have mentioned in previous blogs, there are some phenomenal programs being offered by the Pre-College Programs department for both middle and high school students. Currently, both on-campus and online programs will be offered for Summer 2021.

For High School Students: The Summer Immersion Program is a hands-on learning experience offered on-campus and online for high school students.  Participants will dive deep into a field of study with access to world-class faculty, researchers, and industry professionals. With 20 unique institutes being offered this summer, students have more opportunities than ever to discover their future! We are now accepting applications for Summer 2021!

For Middle School Students: Designed for curious young minds, the Summer Exploration Program is the newest addition to Wake Forest University’s Pre-College Programs lineup. Middle school students are invited to explore with us for a week on-campus or online as they investigate the world of STEM through one of our themed adventures. Explorers will participate in hands-on activities led by Wake Forest staff and undergraduate mentors. Applications for Summer 2021 opened on December 1st.

If you are looking for a last minute holiday gift, why not give the gift of learning?
