And we are hopping here with last minute move-in prep. Short and sweet today.

We sent out this month’s issue of the Wake Parents and Families e-newsletter; read it here. Want to stress one part, because we have had a lot of questions in the call center today re: COVID tests that have not arrived and the impact on move-in:

We know securing test results has been frustrating, and there are concerns with the timing of receiving results because of delays with the United States Postal Service. We understand the situation and are working to make accommodations in our move-in process. We expect to send an email later today with additional guidance.

As soon as that message is ready, it will go out to students and families. I beg your patience until then.

Heard a couple of reminders from colleagues today with things to note:

Our Wake the Forest (events early in the semester) page is now up. Students can get Corq app to be plugged in to campus activities.

If you want to participate in the Tuition Insurance Plan program, you need to sign up before the first day of classes. As I say every year, I don’t have a dog in the fight, just want you to make an informed decision. Here’s some of what we said in the Daily Deac about how others have benefited in the past.

Because we know there are many folks with questions, we are opening the Call Center tomorrow and Sunday from 10 am – 2 pm Eastern at 336-758-7500.

Hang with us, Deac families. We are going to get through this and welcome your Deacs with open arms next week.
