95 degrees today, 96 tomorrow? Get a grip, Mother Nature!Despite the fact that it is OCTOBER, today and tomorrow are supposed to be 95 and 96, respectively. That’s basically as hot as the hottest days you’d see in July or August. Well and truly ridiculous, in my humble opinion. Thankfully, it looks like we will finally move into normal October weather – 70s – shortly after. Your Deacs will just need to sweat through today and tomorrow to get there.

No idea of whether all this hot weather will impact our fall leaves or not. Leaves are already falling off the trees (at my house at least) but we have yet to see all the beautiful colors of fall. Family Weekend will be right around the time our leaves are (normally) at their prettiest. Here’s a few shots from years past, sort of a preview of coming attractions.

And because it is Wellbeing Wednesday, here are a few goodies I found for the Daily Deacdom. Take what works and scroll past the rest as needed.

Breathe, darling. This is just a chapter. It's not your whole story. If you are insecure, guess what? The rest of the world is too. Respect your body when it is asking you for a break. Things to tell yourself when you are feeling discouraged
