Here are a few bits and pieces to start off your Monday:

For P’23s, an email went out to your Deacs this morning; you can read it here, along with all their past messages from the Office of Academic Advising.

John Currie (’93), our Athletic Director, came to speak to our staff meeting this morning. He shared three things he hopes all Wake fans will do:

Wear black and gold/apparel with our logo. We are the only team in the nation with the Demon Deacon mascot. It’s unique and we should all be proud of it!

Attend one more game than you did last year. So if you came to Family Weekend last year and went to the football game, in addition to going to this year’s Family Weekend football game, think about coming back to visit your Deac at another time, whether that is a fall soccer game, spring tennis or basketball, etc.

Contact your tv provider to make sure you have access to the ACC Network (ACCN) – and demand they carry it if it is not in their lineup. The ACC Network is launching on August 22 and will carry ACC games – so tell your provider you want to have access to Wake Forest sports. You can also register your interest at getaccn.com so the ACC knows there is interest in broad coverage for ACC sports.

Registration for commuter student parking permits is this week. There are a limited number of on-campus parking passes for students who choose to live off campus, so make sure your Deac is on top of the registration process if they want to try and get an on-campus pass.
