20 Days Until Orientation (!)

Tomorrow it will be August, which means we’ll officially be in Move-In month. Very exciting to think that our new students will be here for Orientation in 20 days, and that our returning upperclass students shortly thereafter. If you have not seen the Orientation countdown clock, you can view it here.

August 1 is also the due date for tuition. Please, please be sure your Deacs have set you up as a third party payer on our DEAC system (for financials). It is to their benefit and yours to have you notified of bills.

As we look to the start of the semester, Dr. Hatch sent a message to students, faculty, and staff this morning about the President’s Commission on Race, Equity, and Community. You can read it here.

For those who have been following the progress of #sodtheQuad, you can see from the Quad Cam that it is looking pretty good. It’s been a bit dry here, and plenty hot, but we are expecting some rain in the coming days and the new turf will get a good soak.
