All, I am out on PTO today, so this is a pre-post.

Some fabulous news came out yesterday: Wake Forest’s Master of Science in Management (a School of Business program), was ranked #3 in the US!

The Economist ranked the Wake Forest University School of Business Master of Science in Management (MSM) program #3 in the U.S. and #22 in the world in its 2019 global ranking of Masters in Management programs.

The School also placed #1 in the U.S. and #12 globally for Career Opportunities, a category which factors in the diversity and balance of industries that hire Wake Forest MSM talent, employment success among graduates, and alumni satisfaction with career services.” The rankings and methodology can be found here.

More great news – the Quad is sodded. Check it out on the Quad Cam. Big relief to see our grass back. It has been a hot one all week, so know our sprinklers will be working overtime to keep the sod wet and healthy so it takes.

For those of you with Deacs in Summer Session I, finals are on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, with checkout from residence halls on Wednesday evening (see calendar). Summer Session II move-in is July 7th.

Last but not least, our fiscal year ends on June 30th (Sunday), and we are still looking for 262 parents and families in the WFUniverse to make a gift to the Parents’ Campaign of the Wake Forest Fund so we meet our donor goal. If you have not made a gift this year, please consider a gift (of literally ANY amount) to help us reach our goal. You can give online securely here: https://forms.secure.wfu.edu/giving or you can send a check (payable to WFU) to P O Box 7227, Winston-Salem, NC 27109 ATTN: Office of Family Engagement. Note that to count in this year’s campaign, the check must be dated June 30 or earlier AND the envelope postmarked by June 30 (so realistically has to be mailed on Saturday).

Many thanks to the Daily Deacdom for all the ways you support Wake Forest!
