Mother Nature needs to turn down the heat, my friends. It is in the low- to mid-90s today, which is completely ridiculous for May.

For those of you with high schoolers, this may be of interest. Wake Forest offers a number of Summer Immersion programs, and there is still space in some of them:

There are still a few spots left in the Wake Forest Summer Immersion Program! High school students can dedicate one-week at Wake Forest University this summer to:

  – Experience the #1 ranked Pre-College Program on the East Coast*

  – Pursue their passions and discover a career pathway or field of study

  – Make friends from around the world

  – Explore our beautiful campus

Many of our institutes are filling up, but there’s still time to apply in both Charlotte and Winston-Salem. If you know a high school student who hasn’t started an application yet, now is the time to do so!

One of the (many) great things about working for a college is information-sharing with other schools. There is a professional organization for those of us who work with parents and families in higher education, and they occasionally ask their members to run polls so they can gather data on trends in higher ed. For those who are so inclined, I have a 1-question survey about where your student has most requested your advice or assistance.

You can take the survey here. My thanks in advance for helping!
